Imagine This???

Ok, so Lee and I have been frantically packing and tonight I just sat down in the middle of a pile of clothes and had this thought-
"How in the world are we going to get through the airport and on the plane with 3 kids, a double stroller, 3 carseats, 5 carry-ons, 1 diaper bag and 10 suitcases?????????????????????????"

We've been thinking ahead and asked my college roommate to travel with us to Peru and stay for about a week to help out but even with a third adult we are going to look like a CIRCUS!!!
Oh and let's not forget that I've had a c-section and I won't be aloud to carry anything but the baby (I can pull a roller bag though surely.)

Anyway, I'm not complaining Lee and I were actually laughing about it when I told him what I had been thinking but man we are going to have to have some serious self-control on that day. Especially that night when we are tired and we arrive in Lima around midnight.

Ok, so if you have any suggestions for us on how to do this that would be great. Or if you just want to share your funny mental picture of us that would be fine too.

Let's see now...you need your dad for this one! I'm sure he can come up with a nifty carrier that holds 3 car seats, 4 carry ons and a baby. This would leave you free to carry 2 carry ons, Steph!! ha ha! How about if Nana and Mimi just join the circus! Lord, we need your help!!!! hugs

I've never met you guys (we are friends with other members of your team, though!), but we moved to Singapore in June with two toddlers so this is a familiar scene to us! We had 12 suitcases, 5 carry-ons, a stroller, and two kids under 4. The good news? You'll get rid of those 10 suitcases as soon as you enter the airport!! And having an extra set of hands will help tremendously. I realized after our trip that I packed way too much in the boys' carry-ons because I was afraid of the 20 hours in an airplane! I just kept telling myself that the flight couldn't last forever! Once you go through security, see if they have the carts you can push around for your carry-on luggage. That will ease the load. And back-packs are the best. The diaper bag will be so heavy to carry around in the airport...like my purse!
