We have received so many wonderful comments that I thought I would attempt to respond to some of them through an entry instead of responding to each one on that comment box thing. So... here we go. Oh wait, one disclaimer, if I don't mention your comment please don't be offended. It's not because it wasn't special or didn't touch our hearts; but it's probably because I have been so absent minded lately and I just can't remember all of them at this point. I'm sure normal bloggers respond to each one but that just seems too overwhelming. Ok, so really here we go:
Karla- Thanks for commenting on almost every post. Your post about how precious life is, is so true. Thanks for your words. You are so sweet to keep up so diligently with our story.
Ann R.- Your words have been so encouraging. I have felt your prayers and thoughts. I'm looking forward to working with you in the spring. Thanks for reading.
Olivia- I will email you tomorrow. Thank you for YOUR honest words and thoughts too. It's comforting to read your comments and to read your blog.
Amber Groves- I wanted to skype you too but heard you were in California. Please skype me anytime. I would love to talk to you. We have been through so much together and I truly know you are here in spirit.
Emily Anna- I have been thinking a lot about you too. Thank you so much for commenting. We need to skype soon so the girls can see each other. The doll you made Sofia had a tradgic (spelling?) accident-her arm came off. Sofia cried and cried but were taking her to the doll hospital to get her fixed (I'm hoping our maid knows how to sew.) Hope to talk to you soon.
The parents of our Peru Team- Thank you all for your kind comments. It means so much to have our teammates parents be so involved with our whole team. We have felt all of your prayers. This has been a hard time for our whole team and I truly feel like we ALL had a loss not just our family. Be proud of all your kids cause they have completely enveloped us, loved us and have taken care of things we wouldn't have even thought of.
Fellow Peruvian Missionaries I don't know yet- What a blessing to know that fellow missionaries we haven't even met yet are praying for us! Thank you so much and we can't wait to meet you all in Peru.
Families Built On the Rock-Thank you to all of you that commented. You have been so generous in every aspect and we feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful body of believers. Can't wait to see you all in Jan.
Aunt Penny and Meg- Thank you for the comments. You know about loss all to well. I know Scotty, Dervon and Selena are up there playing with their little cousin. Meg, I'm sure you picked some good clothes. I'm not too worried about fashion in these parts, as long as I don't have to wear spandex.
Folks from the A&M Church, Smithville Church, Lamar Ave. Church, Highland Church, Brenham Church, Fairlane Church and anyone else that commented from a church that I didn't remember- Some of you that have written I have only met once and some I have never met. Thank you so much for all your comments and just taking the time to read our blog. You are such wonderful churches that we feel blessed to be a part of in some way.
The Laws Family- I do remember and thank you so much for writing. Costa Rica has also been a blessing to us. The people here are even more beautiful than the scenery and that's hard to beat. Thanks so much for writing.
Everyone- Thank you so much for praying for us and leaving comments. You have truly been a blessing to us and we cherish all your thoughts and prayers.
Ok, thank you so much for abliging me and I'm so sorry if I forget to comment on your comment but I promise I will get better at this. Be patient with me. Love you all
