Hey Everyone! If you need an idea for a Christmas gift for someone (do we really need anything anyway???:) or who would like to give a gift in honor of... I have a GREAT idea-Picture A House.
We finally have all the info for you to send the money to. If you don't know about this project that Sofia is doing then click here & here. It will give you an idea of what she is doing. The short version is that Sofia decided that the kids in Villa Maria where we go work twice a week needed some new homes (in some cases just a first home.) She is taking actual pictures and then we are downloading them to our blog. You can choose your picture (which will be sent to your house) and then the child you choose will also get a picture for his family. These folks are in GREAT need. There is no basic water, plumbing or electricity. Our goal is to raise enough money to build something that will last and that some of the women can actually work from (cooking, laundry, sewing etc...).
